Financial modelling involves the process of forecasting the performance of businesses and assets, using relationships among a range of variables.
The central aim of all financial modelling is to ensure informed decision making or to conduct a valuation in uncertain market conditions. This provides management with leading insight into the short-term or even long-term business environment.
Financial models also assist with:
- Monitoring compliance,
- Debt covenants, and
- Financial reporting requirements.
We provide custom-built financial models that can be used for a wide variety of situations to enhance the decision-making process, including:
- Feasibility analysis
• Scenario analysis
• Forecasting
• Cash flow management
We assist clients in obtaining capital from investors, venture capital sources or B-BBEE investors for various projects they have undertaken.
The approach taken by the firm includes analyzing the asset at hand and performing a feasibility study to ensure its viability. The feasibility study includes applying industry research specific to that asset, as well as the preparation of a financial model which includes constructing a financial representation of some, or all, aspects of the asset.
The model is used to make recommendations based on the financial information at hand and also provides direction regarding possible actions or alternatives. The feasibility study and model is then presented to potential investors in order to assist with the funding for the project.
